Beautiful and affordable community in the up and coming neighborhood of Southwood. The staff are very responsive and super friendly! I recommend checking them out.

So many issues I donât even know where to begin. When we first leased our apartment, we showed up and realized the unit we were given did not match the description the leasing agent gave us. They had to change our lease ON move in day. Secondly, we were told to turn in the move in checklist and work orders would be addressed- not to enter additional work orders. After 3 days, my husband fixed the leaking toilet and sink to avoid damage since no one ever came despite follow up calls. After 3 months, with no notice or approval, their maintenance team illegally entered our apartment while we were not home. Then there is the Assistant Manager Tabitha who has been extremely difficult to deal with since day 1. Not to mention the lighting to the building was not fixed within a reasonable amount of time and was blamed on Daylight Saving Time changes, leading me to fall in the stairs. All issues are documented with the Community Manager Traci. Overall, there are plenty of great communities in Tally, so maybe skip this one. The only positive things about this community are ample parking spots, decent sized floorplans and the landscaping is moderately maintained.

3/10 wouldnât recommend! Their AGM Tabitha is prejudiced towards AA, sheâll deny it by saying her grandkids are half black! She racially profiled me 2wks after move-in because I asked what my mailbox # was. âClaimed I dint look like a residentâ, while I was holding mailbox & unit key in hand! Theyâll tell you its cheaper that they have electric & gasâ¦. LIES! + youll be charged an additional $30(storm & fire) on your utility bill because theyre by a federal building(they dont tell u that) They do âinspectionsâ every 3-4 months. Plus while I was there the gate was only working for 6mo.. and they refused to discount rent even though that amenity was out of use for an extended period (6mo). They barely keep up with theyâre amenities; Gate was always broken, pet stations were ALWAYS overfilled/poop bags never in stock, gym never had sanitation wipes, & they over looked other residents manipulation safety protocols to allow their friends onto the property to use âamenitiesâ (gym & pool) ALL TIMES OF DAY! Plus upon move out you have to pay a professional cleaning company to clean ur unit or theyâll keep your security deposit(they require proof/receipt)

I canât wait until my lease is up. MAA Southwood previously known as the Verandas is so much better and the office staff is so friendly. The Park is the complete opposite. My biggest regret is living here.
